This thrilling action-adventure was based upon a novel by famous writer Michael Crichton, who also co-produced the film. The novel itself is a loose adaptation of Beowulf. With The 13th Warrior, John McTiernan takes us deep into the historical world of Vikings. The action scenes are breathtaking as usual, while Antonio Banderas is amazing in the leading role.
