In 2018, Croatia is in the World Cup finals in Moscow. Three friends are determined to attend the match – even if it means they’ll have to rob a gas station. But things don’t go as planned, and soon they find themselves in more trouble that they can handle.
After numerous brilliant shorts (also screened at Grossmann), Croatian director Dario Lonjak finally presents his debut feature, and it was well worth the wait. Laughs and action take turns all the time, while the three main protagonists’ shenanigans don’t allow the viewer to catch a breath. Another old friend of festival, Velimir Grgić, co-wrote the script.
