Ten-year-old Angelo dreams about becoming an explorer and a zoologist. His dreams soon come true, though not quite how he expected. When he goes visiting his granny, his is left by his absent-minded parents at the roadside rest area. He decides to go and look for them taking a forest path, where many unexpected adventures are waiting for him.
Into the Wonderwoods is the second animated feature by Alexis Ducord, previously known for his Zombillenium (2017). Director and writer Vincent Paronnaud is the author of several shorts and features, and is best known for Persepolis (2007), co-directed by Marjane Satrapi.
