Danilo Bogdanović was born in 1974 in Sombor, Serbia, where he also finished elementary school, high school and Faculty of Education. He works at the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, at the Sombor Police Department. He started reading comics in elementary school and is still an avid comic book enthusiast. He is one of the founders and president of Sombor Comic Book Fans Association, which unites collectors, artists, writers and others who are, in one way or another, connected to comics. He is the director of the Sombor International Comics and Fantasy Festival, held each May in Sombor. He is also editor-in-chief of youth newspaper “SOList” and comic fanzine “Novi StripSo 025”. Along with comic book artist Zoran Janković, he founded the Sombor School of Comics and Illustration, where he is also one of the mentors in workshops for children and youth. He wrote articles for Serbian printed media and newspapers, as well as for internet magazines and portals, mostly about comics and work with children and youth.
