It's an important evening for famous actress Amanda, for she is about to receive a lifetime achievement award. But on her way to the ceremony, the windows of her limousine suddenly go dark, her phone is jammed and she can't open any of the doors. She is about to face a horrible ordeal.

The Glass Coffin is an extremely efficient and claustrophobic thriller that for the most part takes place at a single location while masterfully heightening the tension right untill the creepy crescendo. With his first feature film, director Haritz Zubillaga shows that it is certainly no coincidence that he  was recently named "one of the ten rising stars of Spanish cinema" by Variety magazine.
