Dejan Stojiljković

Dejan Stojiljković (Niš, 1976) is an author, playwright and film and comic writer.

He has published novels “Konstantinovo raskršće”, “Duge noći i crne zastave”, “Znamenje anđela”, “Kainov ožiljak” (together with Vladimir Kecmanović) and “Olujni bedem”, as well as collections of prose “Leva strana druma”, “Low Life” and “Kišni psi”. Together with Vladimir Kecmanović and Dragan Paunović he is the author of the illustrated Nemanjić trilogy, comprised of books »U ime oca«, »Dva orla« and »U ime sina«.

He wrote numerous plays and comic scripts. He is also one of the writers of the Shadows Over Balkan TV series. He won the prestigious” Miloš Crnjanski“ award for his novel “Konstantinovo raskršće”, and the children’s literature award for “Nemanjići: Dva orla”.

His prose was translated into Russian, English, Greek, Italian, Slovakian, Macedonian, Slovenian and French. He is one of the most read contemporary Serbian authors. He is also a member of the P-70 literary group, Serbian Literary Society and Association of Serbian Comic Book Artists.
